Description:

Make: Alvis
Type: Speed 20 SC C&E Tourer
Year: 1936

Approx. 15 years ago I sold this beautiful Alvis Tourer to one of my Belgian customers. I am happy to notice that after years of classic car pleasure this Tourer is again entrusted to me in search of a new owner.
The initial super quality of this very elegant Alvis has aged very well over all these years. Additionally this Speed 20 has had the benefit of a complete engine rebuild by our specialised workshop some years ago and did prove for total reliability and effortless power from the fresh 2,7 liter 6 cylinder 90 HP unit enabling good performances in all nowadays 'modern' road-circumstances.

Having driven all sorts of prewar classics during my 20 year career the Speed 20 Tourer remains my favourite. I am sure to convince you just in a few strong points:
- Extremely elegant and very practical Cross & Ellis tourer design.
- Light, mostly aluminium body construction.
- Super-easy manipulation thanks to for its time very modern technical engineering featuring independant front suspension and full synchromesh gearbox.
- Very reasonable market value.
